A group of individuals who connect in some way around a common idea, topic, issue or purpose to strengthen and improve their professional practice.

• Share common information, perspectives and resources
• Discuss and collaborate
• Build a sense of community
•  Develop a supportive information network for related service providers to build capacity as school team members to more effectively serve students

The Purpose

• Provide information and training regarding the role of related services
• Strengthen the knowledge base of related service personnel
• Promote collaboration across disciplines
• Build effective school teams at the district and building levels (shared work)

Potential Activities

• Meetings and networking opportunities
• Inform and disseminate resources to ORSPN
• Specific training for related service personnel about school-based practice
